Tottenham Court Road station, Oxford Street, London W1D 2DH

Elizabeth Line trains run every five minutes, towards Abbey Wood or Shenfield, both via Whitechapel; or towards Heathrow, via Paddington. This is a very fast route to cross London. It is entirely accessible with Street-to-train step-free access with level boarding (no ramp needed), but NO toilets here!

I have visited Tottenham Court road many times since 2019; with a ticket hall five times larger than the original with eight new escalators and six new lifts providing step-free access.
Tottenham Court Road is a good choice for getting to places like the London Palladium, in Argyll street, which is about 10 minutes walk along Oxford street.
There are some raised platform for wheelchair users.

The Northern line stations are now accessible. The brand new Bank station in Cannon street is now better. At Bank station there are lifts between the Northern line and the DLR.
It is important to note that certain sections of the platform are raised to allow step-free from platform to train on the Northen line, sometimes. It appears to be the second carriage from the front of the train.

Tottenham Court Road is accessible to wheelchair users due to escalators between the platform and street level, These escalators are at the ends of the Train. It is a very deep station, and has lifts to all platforms. The Central line has restrictions requiring ramps. See images below, in June 2019.

General description : In June 2019, an initial visit to Tottenham Court Road station. The external appearance suggest this is an ultra-modern station with good quality lift access to all levels, from street level.

You may need a Ramp to access the central line services from this station. See picture above. The Northern line appears to have raised platforms, these are sections of the platform which allow step-free access to the trains from the platform. Cool! It appears to be the second carriage from the front of the train.
