National Rail lines : Romford station is on the Elizabeth Line, the Greater Anglia Line and is Accessible by new lifts providing step-free access to platforms 3,4, and 5; and this appears to work for accessible travel.
This station has step-free access to all platforms. For access to Platform 1 & 2, take Lift to subway and use accessible ramps to the platform. The ramps leading from the subway to the platforms are fairly steep.

You can change trains along the Elizabeth line to travel as far as Heathrow (or Reading). On the London section of the Elizabeth line between Whitechapel and Paddington, there are trains running every five minutes with alternate services starting from either Shenfield or Abbey Wood; these are on the same platform.

All in all, the new Elizabeth line is amazing. Absolutely brilliant.
