Leyton Station is not accessible to wheelchair users due to stairs between the platform and street level. There are two flights of stairs totalling 27 steps between Leyton High road and the platforms.
Leyton is getting an upgraded Central line station. This will include step-free access, new staircases and a spacious new ticket hall. Work will start in February 2025 and is expected to finish by spring 2027. But for the meantime, enjoy the old shit station until it actually happens!
