Just to access the booking hall, there are at least two sets of stairs, and dependant on which entrance you use, this will be between 31 and 33 steps.
To access the platforms from the booking hall is another escalator plus 20 steps to both the Northern or the Piccadilly lines.
To swap platforms between lines involves a climb of stairs.

Leicester Square is on the Northern line, and Piccadilly line NOT accessible due to more than 50 steps, to wheelchair users due to stairs or escalator between the platform and street level.
