Edgware Road, Step free Rail Travel in London, wheelchair accessible trains. accessible travel.

All the London railway stations :

Edgware Road is on the District line, Hammersmith & City, and Circle line

Edgware Road is at one end of the Circle line, and has lifts to provide step-free access to the platforms; and can be used to reverse direction, e.g. at Paddington where only the east bound platform is accessible! But you need to know this clever trick. Trains currently travel from Hammersmith to Edgware Road, then generally go around the Circle line once before terminating at Edgware Road. These trains then reverse and travel the same route back to Hammersmith.
The station also has some level access boarding points, or platform humps. The Circle line no longer runs in a continuous loop and you may have to change trains at Edgware Road to carry on with your journey.
